The former number 2 bust pick in the 2003 NFL draft was arraigned Thursday morning on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle while your license is not valid. Both charges are misdemeanors that carry a penalty of up to 93 days in jail and/or $500 fine.

Rogers was given a $50,000 cash bond/ten percent.

This cat was behind the wheel of a 2003 Mercedes that was stopped in the left turn lane of Meadowbrook Road. The engine was running and the Mercedes was still in gear, but Rogers was not responding to requests to open the locked doors. Emergency workers went through the sunroof of the car to put it in park.

Maybe alcohol wasn’t all that was in his system….
