NBA Jam is coming back. But first, let’s pay tribute to the original.

I use to play this game for hours. I think NBA Jam and Tecmo Bowl took up a good portion of my weeknights. Anytime you bring back an old school game, it never quite does it justice. The developers usually find a way to fuck up a good game by adding too much shit to the original.

Check out the new and improved NBA Jam that is suppose to be coming out for the Wii.

I could potentially get down with this. But a part of me wants to leave these old school games alone and let me remember them for what they were. They’ve already fucked with Zelda, Tecmo Bowl, and Tyson’s Punchout. Is there any game that is off-limits?
